About Malmi Aviation Club

Aviation is not just about flying and aircraft technical specifications - it's also about having fun together and sharing experiences with other pilots on the ground and in the air. If you can't talk enough about flying at home, you'll find friends at the club with whom you can share experiences and satisfy your thirst for knowledge.

Active Operations

You can get involved in aviation and the world of flight through our club activities. MIK trains its members to become private pilots (LAPL or PPL license), and the club has active youth activities around our flight simulator. We also organize interesting lectures and flight trips.

Our association was founded in 1988 and is a member of the Finnish Aeronautical Association. We have approximately 300 members.

Our club actively organizes various events for its members, and the club has plenty of activities throughout the year. Practicing powered flight at Malmi Aviation Club is rewarding and enjoyable, and the club also offers much more closely related to flying.

The purpose of our activities is to practice safe and enjoyable aviation and bring together people from the capital region who are interested in aviation. We continuously develop our club's activities so that the aviation needs of each of our members are met as well as possible.
